Matthias Trénel
investigates how (and if) process facilitation affects the quality of
online discussions. He analyzes the "Listening to the City" online
dialogue from New York since it provides a unique opportunity to compare
facilitated and unfacilitated discussion groups directly to each other. He is
also a consultant and facilitator (as well as a trainer for facilitators) in the
field of electronic participation.
